The Town of Mammoth Lakes and Mammoth Lakes Tourism are stocking area lakes with, literally, tons of fish for anglers to enjoy this summer – $100,000 worth and double the amount of fish stocking of just three years ago – the highest fish stocking for any town in California. Nearly 10 tons of fish will go into Twin Lakes, Lake Mary, Lake Mamie and Lake George over the course of the season. Anglers 16 years of age and older must have a fishing license. For more information concerning license requirements, places to purchase licenses and fees, call the Department of Fish & Wildlife at 760-934-2664.
